The Guarani and Tupi natives first named the falls Iguaçu, with total accuracy, from their words “y” and “uasú”, that literally means “big water”. Located in the province of Misiones, to the Northeast of Argentina, the falls span the border between Argentina and Brazil, and are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, among the world’s most spectacular natural sites. The waterfalls and the rainforest are a complete sensorial experience that combines vibrant jungle colors and clouds of mist generated by the rushing water.
